Moving to a new city can be daunting as it is. But in Greater Boston, where millions of people live outside of the limits of Boston proper, the array of suburban and semi-urban choices can be impossible to comprehend. From Boston to Burlington, Lexington to Leominster, Weston to Winchester and Cambridge to Concord, the city and suburbs offer so many different lifestyles to choose from, picking the right one in advance allows people to set down roots that they are happy with.

A friend of mine wanted to move to Lexington and did so, for the schools, the location and the beauty of the town. However after settling there, he found that his and his wifes conservative views and strong catholic ties conflicted with the towns liberalness. While Lexington has many catholic families, the town remains quite liberal, and they were unhappy with their choice, realizing that Winchester would have been a better fit.

Greater Boston Suburbs Guide gives you my completely unbiased opinon on dozens of towns throughout eastern Massachusetts gained by living in the area for decades, reading and hearing the talk about all of the different choices.

There is also some basic tourist information including some details about Logan Airport, travelling from abroad and several other aspects of Boston and New England.
